Adobe errors:

We can get following errors in Adobe application.

  • The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again.
  • To fix this error “Make Acrobat the default viewer if both Acrobat and Reader are installed.”
  • We can get a blank or flickering dialog box, a frozen cursor or screen, unexpected restart, Update erros, Can’t open PDF
  • Application Error, Fatal System Error, Reader caused a General Protection Fault in module, Reader caused an Invalid Page Fault in module, Reader has encountered a problem and needs to close.
  • Error 1402: Could not open key
  • Error 1406: Could not write value Folders to key
  • There can be many cause to get these system errors, including conflicts softwares, drivers, hardware, corrupt elements in specific files. A system occurred if Adobe Reader is in running condition.
  • Try to Repair Adobe Reader using Repair Adobe Reader Installation under Acrobat help tab .
  • Try to install latest updates
  • Make sure that your operating system can recognize the PDF

Adobe updates:

After installation we can get following errors at the time of updates installtion.

Need to reboot the computer.You keep receiving the error message each time you restart.

Adobe Updater does not find updates

  • Cannot disable the auto-check feature of Adobe Update Manager
