Router Setup & Configuration:
1. To configure router it is necessary to identify the suitable location from where we can get proper wireless signals easily for any devices.
2. Unboxed the router, connect with power and turn on the power button.
3. Connect router internet port with modem using Ethernet cable. Every router manufacture companies provide two types of port to connect Ethernet cable on router and internet port can identify with different color.
4. Connect second Ethernet cable between computer and any other port of router except internet port.
5. Second cable will use to install wireless driver and wireless configuration. We can disconnect this cable once setup/configuration will be completed.
6. Open router configuration page to set all the setting as per your requirement. Mostly router use http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 link to access router configuration page. If you are not able to access page using this address then contact your router manufactures to get correct address.
7. After open router configuration page it is prompt you to enter user name and password. To get this information you can check user guide or contact your router manufactures.
8. You can enable SSID and create a password to secure your wireless network
9. This SSID and password will use to connect wireless network on any device.
10. Disable guest account to avoid unwanted access.
